About BooksfromScotland.com

The world's only bookshop and information site dedicated to Scottish books...

The BooksfromScotland.com site was set up to showcase and sell the widest possible range of Scottish-interest books. As well as providing an online bookshop, we felt that we needed to go behind the books and profile the writers, the publishers, the genres and the events, and bring together all the information in one site.

What kinds of books do we sell?

In order to make the best possible range available, we aim to be inclusive. Any title that has a connection with Scotland, with a place, a city, or written by a writer with Scottish connections, either by birth, or by residence should be included. We welcome your suggestions, either as writers, publishers or customers, as to new books to go onto the site.

We are wholly owned by Publishing Scotland, the network, trade and development organisation which represents the publishing industry in Scotland.

Based in Edinburgh, we're a small, friendly team and would welcome your calls and feedback on any aspect of the site. For any queries, please call us on 0131 524 8152 or email customer.services@booksfromscotland.com.

Publishers

To be included on the site, please send your title information in the form of AIs (Advance Information) early as possible to our data partners who produce the book list for the site. Please do not send physical copies. Contact BDS directly for information on sending data electronically.
