How do I find the book I am looking for?

You can use the Quick Search box in the top left to search the whole site for a book, author or article. If you choose Advanced Search you can search our book listings for a specific ISBN, Title, Author, Imprint, Keyword or Publication Year.

When you use the Advanced Search you can use the 'Order By' and 'Listing Style' controls in the top right to change how your list of books will appear. Click on a book title in the list to be taken to the book information page. You can use your browser's 'Back' button to return to the book list or you can use the little round navigation buttons on the far top right of the page :

These are the search navigation buttons, and they allow you to move from book to book without having to return to the search listing.

Example:
Suppose you were looking for 'Kidnapped' by Robert Louis Stevenson. You choose Advanced Search, specify Kidnapped for the search title, and click on 'Search'. There are many different editions of this book on the site, so you click on the first title. If it's not the one you want, you can click on the > button in the far top right to view the next book in the list - no need to return to the list of books. Use < to go back, and the middle button to return to the Advanced Search page.

Use the Blue Navigation Bar to take you to the main pages on BooksfromScotland.com - the Home Page, About BooksfromScotland.com, Author Pages, Books to buy, features, essays and articles, News and events, guides to Settings and Locations of Scottish books and authors, the site map and our links page.

Click this button to add the featured book to your shopping basket.

Click this button to view your shopping basket.

Click this button to be sent an email when the featured book, which is not currently available, becomes available to buy from BooksfromScotland.com.

Click this button to sign up to the BooksfromScotland.com monthly mailing list, which contains news and information on new books, special offers, reviews and more.

These are the 'Search Navigation' icons, which allow you to quickly move forwards and backwards through a list of books. These buttons will only function when searching and browsing books, and cannot be used in the Authors, Features or Settings & Locations pages of the site.

Billing Addresses and Shipping Addresses

BooksfromScotland.com can deliver your books to an address other than the payee's address.

Fill in the Step 2. Billing Details form first - this is the address of the person paying for the books, and must match the address of the credit card used.
Press proceed to be taken to Step 3. Shipping Details where you can specify the delivery address - the address the books are to be sent to.
If you want to send the books to the billing address (i.e. to the person who is paying for them), click use billing details at the top of this page.
