About the Creative Scotland Book Awards
In 2010, the SAC Book Awards were sponsored by the Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust, and in 2011 Creative Scotland was formed from the merger of the SAC and Scottish Screen. Four categories are longlisted, and the winner of each category is put forward to the overall Book of the Year Award.
From 2011, the public will be asked to vote for their favourite from the four category winners.
