Celtic Minded 2

Over the last 150 years the Irish have been Scotland's largest immigrant group. Integrating into Scottish society has resulted in this multi-generational community giving birth and support to the social and cultural institution of Celtic FC. Celtic's and its supporting community's uniqueness in Scotland lies in their origins and history as immigrants and refugees.

The contributors to Celtic Minded 2 write in a way that few have been able or willing to in the past. In challenging many of the stereotypes and prejudices that are embedded in Scottish football and society, they admirably reflect one of the aspirational declarations of the new Scottish parliament of the third millennium: 'One Scotland Many Cultures'.
