Chiropractic Adjustment Of The Spine

The book aims to play a pivotal role in chiropractic undergraduate education by creating a detailed learning journey purposive to the attainment of the clinical competencies essential to the delivery of safe, effective spinal adjustment. This work is designed to define a range of spinal adjustive techniques which will represent the core techniques to be mastered, thus ensuring a broad level of competence with spinal adjusting on which the student can later build "electives" from other systems. The layout will be highly structured. It is planned to describe one technique per opening, with the structured description and clinical comment on one page, and line drawing illustrations and photographs on the other. There will be an introduction as a discussion of the principles spinal adjustive technique. Careful attention is paid to the psychology of learning and the unique, specific considerations of teaching the powerful clinical science, art and skill of effective spinal adjusting.
