This extensive yet rigorously chosen collection makes Duncan Glen's poetry available as never before - spanning forty years of poetry writing from poems of the 1960s gathered into In Appearances, 1971, to new poems of the late 1990s and the early months of 2005. In 1981 Ken Smith wrote, "ten years on, the voice of In Appearances, questioning, and sceptical yet passionate, still has the shock of the new."
