James Watt

This is the final part of this new trilogy on James Watt, the scientist and inventor. This book includes; the development of rotary motion and its application in our factories to drive machinery; patents and other problems in Cornwall and other developments and interests Watt had in his later years. As with the other volumes, the author takes care to weave elements of Watt's family life into the book, which has the effect of bringing some of the mundane (and not so) aspects of this man's busy life into the public domain.
