Amid the chaos of the Brixton riots in the early 1980s, Lux is searching for Pearl - the love of his life. As she and her friend, Nicky, seek sanctuary, the two are relentlessly pursued by mad scientists. Lux is helped in his quest by a castaway from Heaven - and sets out to proclaim his love for Pearl.
