Whether participant or spectator, all Scots are active in the oral literature and performance culture of Scotland. From Cú Chulainn and Finn mac Cool to broadsides and bothy ballads, to Galoshins and the Foursome Reel, the oral and performance culture of the Scots is here explained and discussed.
