Sir Alex Ferguson is a living football legend. He is arguably the most successful football manager in the modern game and there is nothing club football can offer that he has not won. Indeed, he has been knighted by the Queen for his incredible achievements. As manager of Manchester United for nearly 20 years, Ferguson has seen it all. His job and his reputation have been on the line more than once but he has stormed his way through the crises with aggression and determination. His various Manchester United teams have reflected his will to win and refusal to accept defeat until the last note of the final whistle.
