Leckie & Leckie pioneered full-colour revision books for the Scottish secondary market with the introduction of the Success Guide series in 2005, which has proved to be immensely popular since its launch.

Our 250th study guide – PC Passport Course Notes – will be launched at the Scottish Learning Festival at the SECC in Glasgow this September. This full-colour A4 publication endorsed by the SQA provides up-to-date materials to help students excel with their IT skills. The company has come a long way from its inception in St Andrews, which initially published 3-4 titles per year!

Leckie & Leckie has always sourced highly experienced and knowledgeable authors, including Principal Teachers and SQA markers and assessors, and has been particularly committed to publishing for niche subject areas previously devoid of resources.

Additionally, Leckie & Leckie has a strong offering in core areas of Maths, English and the Sciences, across all national qualification areas from Standard Grades to Highers.

In 2007 Leckie & Leckie became the first UK educational publisher to launch, in conjunction with the RNIB, a new title in various accessible versions. Addressing the new Curriculum for Excellence, ACE Skills and Strategies for Learning is available in ordinary print, large print, Braille and in an audio version.

Leckie & Leckie is the only official publisher of the SQA Past Papers, publishing an extensive range of past examination papers along with comprehensive answer sections showing students exactly what examiners are looking for and how to aim for the best grade. Leckie & Leckie has been publishing Past Papers since 2001; our output has increased steadily over the years, with no fewer than 77 Past Papers to be published in 2008.
