One Published is not a traditional print publisher but an innovative company who produce 'themed photobooks' which combine users' own photos with selected interest areas. They began with two titles: Scottish Connections - Celebrate your "Scottish Connections" in a book all about Scotland where you can drop in your snaps and memories from Scottish holidays, Burns suppers, ceilidhs etc, and "Time to tick the box" - a kids' green action book in which the kids' photos star! More titles will follow soon, including a Pony book in March 2008...

Founded in 2005 and based in Edinburgh, One Published pioneered the concept of themed photobooks. A team of 16 developed the enabling technology that allows consumers to combine their photos (and captions and scanned images) with the pages of a pre-defined book about their selected area of interest.

This revolution in publishing allows for a single copy of the book to be printed which is unique to the person who has added their photos! Every copy is digitally printed and different by dint of the content added by the purchaser. This has caused problems for the ISBN system - you will notice that One Published publications do not carry ISBNs.

Many new titles are in the pipeline. Our Pony Book is due out in March 2008, and is aimed at the pre- and early teen pony owners and riders market. (Mums and Dads of children with Ponies beware! A new hassle factor is soon to enter your life.) A string of other titles will follow throughout 2008/9.
