Roderick Watson's The History of Scottish Literature is a comprehensive guide to the diversity of the Scottish literary canon, from medieval times to the present day, in Scots, English, Latin and Gaelic.
First published 20 years ago, this revised and expanded edition now spans two volumes, and BooksfromScotland.com have five copies of the two-volume set, worth £25, to give away. To enter the competition, answer the following three literary questions:
- Which author's experiences as a teacher were the basis for his novel Mr Alfred MA, and when was it first published?
