Winner of Costa Book of the Year Announced

Congratulations to Edinburgh-born author Stef Penney who has won the 2006 Costa Book of the Year award with her debut novel, The Tenderness of Wolves. The novel, set in the Canadian far north - despite the fact that Penney has never been to Canada - wins the author £30,000.
