BRAW Awards 2007 Shortlist

The Royal Mail Awards for Scottish Children's Books, managed by BRAW, have announced the nine shortlisted books for the 2007 awards. The awards are split into four categories - Early Years, Younger Readers, Older Readers, and Gaelic. Winning authors will win £3000 and runners-up £500. The Gaelic winner has already been announced.

Early Years (0-7)

  • Augustus and his Smile by Catherine Rayner
  • Dan and Diesel by Charlotte Hudson and Lindsey Gardiner
  • Katie's Moose by James Robertson and Matthew Fitt, and illustrated by Karen Sutherland

Younger Readers (8-12)
