Corrag Competition
Win a 'lucky bag' of six Scottish-interest books in our Spring Competition.
The award-winning Susan Fletcher has a new novel out this month - Corrag, set in Glencoe at the time of the Massacre. But what does the Gaelic word 'corrag' actually mean?
Send in your entries to editor@booksfromscotland.com by 31 March stating your name, address and email.

In Scottish Gaelic, the word corrag means 'forefinger' (although we have accepted 'finger' as an answer as well). Susan Fletcher named her character and novel after the character's mother, Cor, plus a hag, a witch. But this does not mean that corrag means 'witch', as many of our entries suggested.

In 'Corrag', Susan Fletcher tells us the story of an epic historic event, of the difference a single heart can make - and how deep and lasting relationships can come from the most unlikely places.
