David Toulmin Competition
Entries for the David Toulmin competition are now being accepted by the University of Aberdeen, as part of the Word Fest. The Elphinestone Institute has founded a competition in the name of John Reid, better known under his pen name, David Toulmin.
Short stories, up to 4,000 words long, on the subject of life in the north east of Scotland are sought. Stores can be in English or Scots.
The winner will be announced at the Word Festival in May 2008.
