Fidra Novel Writing Competition

Fidra Books are hosting a competition to find their first new novel. Known for their reprints of classic children's novels, Fidra are looking for a new book. The book will be aimed at children aged 9-14 and should fit into their publishing programme - boy's adventure stories, pony stories for girls, even a modern school story.

The competition will be judged by Anne Digby, Victoria Walker, Michael Motley and Vanessa Robertson, and the closing date is 31st August 2007. The winning novel will be published in 2008.
