Saltire Society Winners 2007

The Winners of the 2007 Saltire Society Book Awards were announced at a ceremony in the National Library of Scotland's Causewayside Buildings. Winners were announced in the categories of Research Book, History Book, First Book the overall Scottish Book of the Year.

Two winners were announced for the History Book Award, for 2006 and 2007, allowing this award to 'catch up' with the others.

Two books were also winners in the Research Book Award, as the judges were unable to pick just one winner.

There were four books short-listed for the First Book of the Year Award.

The winner of the overall Scottish Book of the Year Award has also been shortlisted for the 2007 Costa Book Awards.
