Edinburgh International Book Festival 2010
Four Nobel Laureates and four Booker Prize winners will be attending the 2010 Edinburgh International Book Festival, under the leadership of new director Nick Barley. Themes at the festival this year include The New World Order, America Now, the Edinburgh UNESCO City of Literature Storyshop and Literary Pioneers. The festival also launches the Readers First Book Award, with all the debut novels, novellas and anthologies appearing at the festival shortlisted. The winners will be chosen by the visitors of the festival.
As always, BooksfromScotland.com will be picking out the Scottish authors and Scottish books appearing at the festival.
