James Macaulay, Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow, and author of The Glasgow School of Art: Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Hillhouse: Charles Rennie Mackintosh, gives a talk on Newbery's portrait of the architect, designer and painter. Macaulay is also finishing a major biography of Mackintosh, due to be published in 2006.

Alan Crawford, freelance writer and author of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, will discuss Mackintosh's career, architecture, interiors, furniture and painting, showing how his approach to his work was that of an artist.
