The ASLS Annual Conference 2008: Dramatising Scotland

The 2008 Annual Conference of the Association for Scottish Literary Studies will explore the range of dramatic representations of Scotland. Invited speakers – practitioners and academics – will address the achievements, constraints and opportunities in Scottish theatre, broadcasting and film.

With the National Theatre now well established and Scottish broadcasting and film firmly on the political agenda, this conference will provide a timely opportunity for debate and discussion.
