Days Like This is a collection of true life stories, written by ordinary people from all over Scotland and submitted to the Scottish Book Trust and the BBC as part of a ground-breaking national project. Hundreds of people sent in their stories – all set during or around one particular day in their lives and the best have been selected to be part of the book - a true snapshot of Scotland and its people, past and present.

Alongside stories by Irvine Welsh and Roddy Woomble, read about ordinary people’s lives – memories of the war, deaths, births, happy days, sad times, ordinary days, historic moments, they are all there!
