Crime writer Ian Rankin will lead a special charity event at the Caledonian Brewer in Edinburgh. He will read a short story, specially commissioned for the event, in which Inspector Rebus investigates a murder at the brewery. Before the conclusion of the story, guests will have the opportunity to take part in an open discussion about what they have heard and suggest what twists and turns the story may or may not take. Ian will then reveal the final scene, which will be followed by an informal chat and Q&A session.

A small auction will also take place when you can bid for exclusive Rebus items donated by Ian. And to round off a fun evening there will be a short book signing.

A hot and cold buffet is included in the ticket price of £40.00, in addition to a fine selection of Caledonian Beers and wine.
