Three distinguished Scottish poets reading poetry inspired by paintings. Stewart Conn, the capital's inaugural poet laureate, under the title the Edinburgh Makar; Dilys Rose, winner of the 2006 McCash Prize and writer in residence at the University of Edinburgh from 2001- 2004 and Alan Riach, formerly Associate Professor of English and a Pro-Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Waikato, New Zealand, and currently Professor of Scottish Literature at the University of Glasgow, invite you to consider ‘poetry about paintings' over a glass of wine in the magnificent surroundings of the RSA Annual Exhibition.
