Timothy Neat, author of Hamish Henderson - a Biography, will talk about one of the most influential Scotsmen of the twentieth century. Volume 1 of this biography, entitled The Making of the Poet, was published to acclaim in November 2007. Volume 2 is scheduled for 2009 and will be entitled The Making of the People.
The Birnam presentation will include a short lecture, plus extracts from Neat’s acclaimed films - ‘Journey to a Kingdom’ and ‘Rathad nan Ceard’
