St Andrews Library is hosting an event to coincide with the results of Orange Broadband Prize for Fiction 2007. The Orange Prize is offered to the best novel written by a woman writer. Members of library Reading Groups will be reading extracts from the six short-listed books. On the night you can vote for your favourite before the official winner is announced.

The books in the running are Half of a Yellow Sun by C N Adichie, Arlington Park by Rachel Cusk, The Inheritance of Loss by Kiran Desai, A Concise Chinese-English Dictionary for Lovers by Xiaolu Guo, The Observations by Jane Harris and Digging to America by Anne Tyler.
