The programme for the 6th West Dunbartonshire Literature Festival has now been finalised. The festival starts with the Alastair Pearson Lecture in the Millennium Hall, Gartochan on Monday 5th June, and ends with the always popular Folk Night in the Railway Tavern, Dumbarton on Wednesday 21st June. All adult events require a ticket to gain admission, but these will be issued free of charge, except for the Folk Night, which costs £3.

  • The Alastair Pearson Lecture, 5th June, with Professor Douglas Gifford of Glasgow University
  • Zoë Strachan and Alan Bissett, 8th June
  • The Return of the Femmes Fatales, 14th June, with Lin Anderson, Alanna Knight and Alex Gray
  • Christopher Brookmyre, 19th June
