Scotland was instrumental in the invention and development of photography, and this is the first comprehensive study of Scottish photography. From pioneering work to contemporary artists, Scottish Photography: A History is an informative and highly readable thematic study, bringing Scottish photography onto the international stage. Please join us as we launch Scottish Photography with a special illustrated talk by author Tom Normand on this artistic tradition from its development through to modern artists.

There will be a second launch in Edinburgh's Stills Gallery, 23 Cockburn Street, at 6.30pm on Thursday 8th November.
