Encouraged by Burns Nights, ceilidhs and poetry slams, reading poetry aloud is a valued Scottish tradition, enjoyed by young and old alike. Luath Press are launching 100 Favourite Scottish Poems to Read Out Loud, with recitations of old favourites from Burns to Matt McGinn, and new classics from contemporary Scottish poetry. Suggest a favourite poem to be recited, or get up and read it yourself! Sure to be a fun night of poetry reading. Covering a range of themes, from love to landscape, this wonderful collection really does have something for everyone. Special appearances by contributing poets to be announced.
