A reflective Solstice event held in the gallery of Modern Art Library where it is hoped the magical and the mythical will provide the theme. The Library has a very good café and allows people to bring their refreshments into the area used for performance. There will be a PA system at this event. This event is followed by the Writers’ Pilgrimage which starts at the GoMA Library and finishes at Glasgow Green with refreshment stops along the way. Participants will be led on a fascinating journey into Glasgow’s literary past as they approach Glasgow Green for the Midnight celebrations. It will also include readings at various locations. So bring along plenty of provisions and work to read. This is another unique, innovative event from the Federation, and promises to be a lot of fun into the bargain.
