The 2007 Highland Year of Culture is officially launched with a street party in Inverness City Centre on Friday 14th January. The First Minister, Jack McConnell, will be the guest of honour, alongside the Inverness Gaelic Choir, Massed Pipes and Drums of the Highlands, Blazin Fiddles, and more. A fireworks display (weather permitting) will follow.
