Voices of Scotland is a series of literary, poetic and music events at the 2006 Melbourne International Arts Festival.
The events will start off with Writing the City: Edinburgh in Poetry, Prose and Song, hosted by the UNESCO Edinburgh City of Literature Trust, staring writer Susie Maguire, actor Crawford Logan, musician Rod Paterson and Gavin Wallace of the Scottish Arts Council. On Tuesday 24th, at 3pm, author Andrew O'Hagan will be joined by Australian journalist Romana Koval to discuss his latest novel, Be Near Me, which was longlisted for the 2006 Man Booker Prize.
