Ledbury Poetry Festival: Scottish Weekend

The Ledbury Poetry Festival, one of the largest in the UK, is holding a Scottish Weekend. This 10th annual festival also includes a poetry competition, judged by Scottish poet Don Paterson.
Attending the 'Scottish Weekend' will be:
Friday 30th June, 7.30pm, Community Hall
Liz Lochhead, Glasgow's Poet Laureate, launches the Scottish Weekend.
Saturday 1st July, 10.30am, Burgage Hall
Professor Alan Riach, from the University of Glasgow, provides a unique insight into modern Scottish poetry in this lecture.
Saturday 1st July, 3.45pm, Burgage Hall
Poets Douglas Dunn and Robert Crawford will be reading from their work. Both teach at St Andrews University's Creative Writing course.
Sunday 2nd July, 12.15pm, Burgage Hall
The Scottish Weekend continues with readings from WN Herbet and Robin Robertson.
Sunday 2nd July, 5.30pm, Community Hall
Don Paterson, the only poet to have won the TS Eliot Prize twice, is the 2006 poet in Residence at Ledbury.
