Dumfries and Galloway Writers’ Network in association with the Bakehouse invite writers from across the region to a day of writing workshops. Solway Poets John Hudson and Chrys Salt will cover the ‘making’ of a poem from conception to performance. The workshop will consider the following notions about ideas: Where do they come from? Where do we begin? Filling the Page. Developing our ideas. Making a Poem. Making your writing speak. Hopefully by the end of the day the participants will have a work in progress to continue with and a better idea about how to carry on.
