Carola Luther's first collection Walking the Animals was shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best First Collection. Her poems portray dislocation, and travel through landscapes of loss and longing in richly imagined language.
Jean Atkin lives in a smallholding on a windy hill overlooking the Southern Uplands, and this landscape fuels much of her poetry.
