Scottish Literary and Book Festivals

For a small country, the Scots love to celebrate their literary heritage with book festivals and fairs across the country. Indeed, the world's largest book festival makes its home in Edinburgh's Charlotte Square each August, and Glasgow, Aberdeen Dundee, Stirling and Inverness also host their own festivals. There are events on remote Scottish islands, a walking book festival in the Borders, and storytelling festivals with international participation.
