Inter-War Scottish Books: 1919-1939

Scottish fiction set during the period between the two world wars, including novels set during the Great Depression. Historical crime writer Catriona McPherson sets her novels in the 1920s, and John Buchan also set some novels during this period. Several of the novels are set on the Clydeside, in the last great years of Scotland's shipbuilding industry.
